Dutch Infantry Combat Tunic (Grove Stof Uniform). This is a combat tunic from the so-called 'Blue-period'. The tunic and pants are made of the so-called 'grove-stof'. The blue woolen trousers are showing red piping indicating usage within the Infantry. The pants are showing various markings including a 'MW 99' marking indicating the Depot in Woerden and date 1899. The dark-blue woolen tunic is showing two rows of buttons and red piping and shoulder-boards. The tunic is nicely marked 'MA 95' indicating the Depot in Amsterdam in 1885. The tunic and pants are in overall good condition with normal traces of usage and age and some minor moth-damages, see photos. Hard to find original 19th century Dutch combat tunic!
