This is a nice original Dutch 'Politietroepen' Tunic (Dagelijks Tenue Model 1912/23). The tunic is made of fieldgrey woolen cloth, similar to the cloth used to manufacture the combat tunics. The tailor made tunic is not visible maker marked or dated, a name-tag with initials is sewn inside the tunic. The tunic dates from around 1939. The tunic is having a pair of rank-insignia (Bananenschillen) sewn to the sleeves indicating the rank of corporal within the Police Troops. The tunic is complete with all buttons. The original white coloured Aiguillette (nestel) is present as well. There are some small moth damages and normal traces of usage, see photos. Scarce original jacket in good used condition, not often offered for sale!
