Dutch Prison Guard's Tunic
This is a nice Dutch pre-war Prison Guard's Tunic (Uniformjas Gevangenisbewaarder). The tunic is made of black coloured wool, it is having the green coloured piping as intended for prison guards. This type of tunic was in used from the late 20's up to the war, the tunic is having directly sewn on shoulder-boards and sewn on breast-pockets. The tunic is complete with all buttons. The tunic is in perfect, near mint, condition with no damages at all. I have never seen a similar tunic for sale. Rare original tunic!
Dit is een mooie Nederlandse voor-oorlogse Uniformjas voor een Gevangenisbewaarder. De uniformjas is gemaakt van zwarte wol, de jas heeft groene biezen zoals bedoeld voor gevangenis personeel. Dit type jas was in gebruik vanaf eind jaren '20 tot aan de oorlog, de jas heeft direct opgenaaide schouderstukken en opgezette borstzakken. De jas is compleet met alle knopen. De jas is in perfecte, bijna mint, staat zonder beschadigingen. Ik heb nooit eerder een dergelijke jas te koop gezien. Zeldzaam origineel uniform!
