Nice pair of Dutch Officer's Boots (Officiers Laarzen). Officers and certain senior NCO ranks were responsible for purchasing their own uniforms including footwear. The Officers and certain senior NCO’s could choose to purchase their footwear from the armed forces clothing depots or to privately purchase footwear of higher quality. This is a nice quality privately purchased pair of, tall, black leather boots, the boots are in used condition and are showing normal traces of usage. The boots are not visible maker marked or dated. The leather is still supple. These boots date from around the WW2 period and are perfect for an officer's display. The boots are approximately a size '43'. Nice pair of period black officer's boots!
