Rare original Dutch Medal-Bar
Dutch Military Medal-Bar consisting of:
- Order of Orange Nassau, for outstanding service to the state or society.
- 1940-1945 War Cross, for service in the armed forces, merchant navy, fishing fleet or civil aviation outside occupied territory.
- Star for Order and Peace, for military service in the former Dutch East Indies.
- Officers Cross (Officierskruis), for meritorious service as an officer in the Dutch armed forces over a period of 20 years.
- Marching Cross (Vierdaagsekruis), for completing the Nijmegen four-day March in accordance with the official standards.
The Order of Orange Nassau is a military version with swords for an 'Officer'. The 1940-1945 War Cross is having the clasp 'Nederlandsch-Indië 1941-1942' attached. The Star for Order and Peace is having the clasps '1946' and '1949' attached. The set is complete with miniatures, battons and the original box of the 'Fa. J.M.J. v. Wielik' company in The Hague. The set is named: 'Schotman'. Rare original set in very good condition!
