 Kriegsmarine Greatcoat (Mantel) as intended for an 'Admiral'. The Greatcoat/surcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. This is a heavy quality dark navy-blue woolen construction privately purchased Admiral's  type greatcoat having bright blue lapel facings indicative of Admiral officer rank, it has two rows of six gold coloured front closure buttons. greatcoat. The buttons are the typical gold coloured navy type buttons. The greatcoat is complete with a pair of sew-in type General's type shoulder-boards, both having two pips attached as intended for an 'Admiral'. The greatcoat is fully lined with black rayon lining material. The greatcoat is having built-in dagger hangers underneath one of the pocket flaps. The greatcoat is not visible maker marked. The greatcoat is in good used condition showing minor traces of usage, see photos. Rare and hard to find original Kriegsmarine Admiral's greatcoat!

This greatcoat originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!

 Kriegsmarine Mantel (Mantel) zoals bedoeld voor een 'Admiral'. De mantel behoorde tot de standaarduitrusting van iedere soldaat. De mantel kon gedragen worden bij koud weer of regen en alle andere denkbare situaties. De zware kwaliteit donkere marineblauwe wollen mantel is een privé aangekocht Admiraal's type mantel gemaakt van de met blauwe panelen op de openslaande kraag wat duidt op een Admiraal's rang, de mantel heeft twee rijen van 6 goud-kleurige knopen, de knopen zijn het standaard type goudkleurige Marine knopen. De mantel is compleet met een paar Generaal's model schouderstukken van het innaai-type, beiden met twee pips bevestigd zoals bedoeld voor een 'Admiral'. De mantel is gevoerd met een zwarte kunstzijde voering. De mantel is niet zichtbaar maker gemarkeerd. De mantel is compleet met geïntegreerde dolk-dragers. De mantel is in goede gebruikte staat en vertoont normale gebruiks- en ouderdomssporen, zie foto's. Zeldzame en moeilijk te vinden originele Kriegsmarine Admiraal's Mantel!

Deze mantel is afkomstig uit de collectie van het onlangs gesloten Eyewitness Museum en was voorheen te zien in het diorama dat wordt getoond in de laaste foto!
