'Deutscher Volksgenossen Bund' (D.V.G.) Westmark (Lotharingen) Membership Badge (Mitgliedsabzeichen), this was the German Volks-Comrade Union Westmark in the Alsace-Lorraine Region of France which supported the annexation of that region to the Third German Reich in 1938. The badge is a nice enameled example, it has a nice age patina and has never been cleaned nor polished. The badge is nicely maker marked with 'RZM M9/312' indicating production by the company of 'Fritz Mannheim G.m.b.H.' from Kaiserslautern being a rarely encountered manufacturer. The badge is of course complete with its functional pin/catch construction. Rare original example in very good condition!
