The Golden HJ Honor Badge was introduced in June 1934 by the Reichsjugendführer 'Baldur von Schirach', the golden HJ Honor badge was intended to be awarded to those in the HJ and BDM who had been members prior to the first National Youth Day Rally, held at Potsdam in October 1932. The badge is having an identical design as the standard HJ membership badge, but having wider borders in gold. The badge is neatly maker marked on the back with 'RZM M1/120' indicating production by the company of 'Wilhelm Deumer' from Lüdenscheid. This is a so-called 'B-Stück'. The badge is complete with its original pin/catch attachement, the catch is missing the small closure button. Nice original HJ Honor Badge in good used condition!
