Luftwaffe EM/NCO's Overseas Cap (Schiffchen für Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften). Luftwaffe blue/grey woolen construction overseas cap. The insignias on the cap are the Luftwaffe second pattern style eagle and the black/white/red national tri-color cockade. The insignia are neatly period hand applied, see photos. The cap has a grey coloured lining which is nicely maker marked by the company of 'GPranke & Domagalla' from Berlin and dated 1941, it is size '57' marked. This is a rare and interesting manufacturer from Berlin, the company is mentioned in the period phone-books from Berlin, but this is the first product from this company I've ever encountered. Rare original cap in very good, near mint, condition!
