Luftwaffe EM's Greatcoat (Mantel). The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Luftwaffe grey woolen construction, it has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The heavy quality greatcoat is partially lined with grey/tan cotton lining material. The Greatcoat is nicely size marked (chest size: 100cms) and maker marked by a manufacturer from Berlin. An internal dagger-hanger has been sewn inside the greatcoat. Shoulder-board loops and buttons are missing. This greatcoat has recently been found in a housecleaning in Germany. Nice original Luftwaffe greatcoat in very good condition!
