German 'Reichskriegsflagge' (National War Flag). The national war flag was flown on all Kriegsmarine warships, Luftwaffe airfields and all buildings owned by the Wehrmacht. The flag is made of dual-sided printed wool, the flag is having reinforcement stitching and is complete with its original cord with loop. The flag is sized 100x170cms which is a medium size. The flag is nicely maker marked by the 'Textildruck Arlt, inh. Oskar u. Kurt Arlt' from Schönheide/Erzgeb. "Taken at Trier" is painted on the flag in white, Trier is a city at the Mosel River where a US Soldier took this flag as a souvernir from the war. The flag is in good used condition with some minor damages and staining, see photos. Nice original flag!
