NSBO Unit Flag 'Wassenberg'

Description

NSBO (National Sozialistische Betriebszellen-Organisation) Unit Flag for the NSBO unit "Wassenberg 2". The NSBO was a workers organization in Germany, established in 1928. In 1935 the NSBO was merged into the DAF, a more organized and better represented organisation. The double sided flag has a red wool base with a separate, machine stitched black mobile black swastika on a white roundel, sewn to the center of each side of the flag. There are 7 rings present to hang the flag, one ring has been replaced. The flag has a black wool patch sewn to both sides, showing the white chain-stitched name of the city "Wassenberg 2", these patches are trimmed with a white border. The flag is trimmed with silver fringe around the edges. The flag is sized approximately 120 x 140 cms. The flag shows some small spots and staining but is in overall nice and good condition. Very nice and decorative original piece!
