Rare Wehrmacht 'Heer' Standard Pole Top (Fahnenspitze) for a regimental or battalion flag or standard. The 26 cms high pole top is made of chromed aluminum but unfortunately lost its chrome finish. It is maker marked by 'Bildgiesserei Kraas' from Berlin S42 and showing the designer mark. The triangular peak above the eagle looks period removed and the pole top has been transferred into a desk ornament by placing it onto a marble base being a great display item as it is now. Nice example in good used condition showing normal traces of age and usage, see photos. Decorative and rare original piece!
