Description

'Reichsbauernstadt Goslar' Porcelain Vase. The vase is showing a nicely hand-painted floral design with script 'Reichsbauernstadt Goslar'. "Reichsbauernstadt" was the Nazi honorary title for the city of Goslar from 1936 to 1945. On 15 January 1934, 'Reichsbauernführer' and leader of the 'Reichsnährstand' Richard Walther Darré, declared Goslar the seat of the Reich Food Society. Two years later, the city officially received the designation "Reichsbauernstadt" (Reich Farmers' City). From then until 1938, Goslar hosted the Reich Farmers' Days, during which the Nazi state practiced its "blood and soil" oaths. The vase measures approximately 13cms in height and is having a diameter of 10,5cms. The vase is in very good undamaged condition. Rare and decorative original vase!
