'SA Gruppe Westmark' Grave Remembrance Banner or Funeral Sash (100 x 17 cms). The SA (Sturmabteilung) was originally formed in August 1921 as a protective guard unit for the political leaders of the NSDAP. This banner has been placed on the grave of a dead comrade (Dem toten Kameraden) from the 'SA Gruppe Westmark'. The rayon banner is having a machine stitched on white roundel with a black printed swastika and silver fringe at both ends. The banner does have some small spots and stains but is in overall nice and good condition. Interesting original piece.
