Third Reich ‘Reichsbahn’ Railroad Eagle. This is a 25 inch (63cms) wide example as intended for a locomotive (Lokomotive). The eagle is in very good condition showing great details and a nice patina. The eagle is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Rheinmetall-Borsig', it is also marked on the reverse with 'GAl-Mg(Si)'. It has three studs for mounting, one stud has been cut-off, see photos. This will be a great display piece in any collection. Rare and stunning original railroad eagle!
