Description

Wehrmacht (Heer) Officer's Sword/Saber (Säbel für Offiziere). The lion head type sword has a molded, black, bakelite grip with the correct horizontal silver wire wrap. The grip is in overall good condition with no chips or cracks. The obverse rounded tip, shield shaped, languet shows an embossed Wehrmacht style eagle. The blade is not visible maker marked. The blade is in very good condition. The scabbard retains most of its original black paint, see photos. Nice original Wehrmacht Officer's Lion Head type Sword in very good condition!
