Wehrmacht ZF41 Sniper Scope with Mount (Gewehr-Zielfernrohr 41), complete with original carrying case. The 1.5 power magnification ZF41 sharpshooters scope was designed for use with the K98 carbine, and was first issued in quantities in 1941, it was issued together with a metal carrying case. The scope is nicely marked with 'cxn' indicating production by the company of 'Emil Busch AG' from Rathenow. The optics are regrettably a bit clouded, see last photo. The mount is maker marked 'duv', all ZF41 scope mounts are marked with this inspection code. The set is complete with its original slightly rusted fieldgrey painted metal carrying case. The case is maker marked with 'jvb' indicating production by the company of 'Wessel & Müller' from Lückenwalde. The set is complete with the rare often missing original cleaning brush. The brush is worth 250 euro on its own. The original cleaning cloth is present as well. This set was recently found in a private household in Germany in the Saar region and was not part of a collection before. The set is in uncleaned condition as found, see photos.
