NSDAP 'Öffentliche Beratungsstelle' Enamel Sign
NSDAP 'Nationalsozialistische Öffentliche Beratungsstelle' Enamel Sign (Emailleschild). Early pe-war white, red and black coloured vaulted enamel wall plaque. The sign is showing a rectangular section and a roundel section at the right, the roundel is having a diameter of approximately 30cms, the total width of the shield is approximately 75,5cms. The roundel is showing a Swastika and is designed like a Party Badge. The sign shows the cript 'Nationalsozialistische Öffentliche Beratungsstelle' which would translate to something like public office/counseling center of the NSDAP. The sign is not visible maker marked. This sign has recently been found at a house renovation in Heinsberg (Germany) and was burried in the ground. Being in grounddug condition the enamel is showing some larger damages and various smaller damages and rust spots, see photos. In period documentation I found addresses of NSDAP 'Beratungsstellen' in Darmstadt and Eberstadt, so these offices probably existed in various cities throughout Germany. To me this is the only known enamel sign of this type. Rare original enamel sign!
