'225. Infanterie-Division' Commemorative Stickpin (Divisionsabzeichen). The 225. Infanterie-Division was formed in August 1939 in the Hamburg area. It participated in the invasions of the Netherlands and Belgium before transferring to the Eastern Front in 1942. It eventually surrendered to the Soviet Army in the Courland Pocket in May 1945. Post war commemorative enamel stickpin (Hüsken 9812a) as intended for veterans of the 225th Infantry Division. Nice and decorative original pin in very good condition!
