This is a nice original period cast-iron wall relief picture of 'Adolf Hitler' (Büste des Reichskanzlers Adolf Hitler). The magnetic cast-iron plaque is having a diameter of 18cms and still retains most of its original black finish. The relief picture of Adolf Hitler is signed by the famous artist "Arno Breker". Arno Breker was one of the best known, but also most controversial, German sculptors of the 20th century. Controversial, because he was highly involved in the development of the so-called "Aryan" or also "National Socialist" art during the Third Reich period. Please note this is one of the rarer larger sized plaques compared to the most often encountered 9,5cms version. Rare and decorative original piece in very good condition!
