BDM Proficiency Clasp in Bronze
This is a nice original BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel) Proficiency Clasp in Bronze (Leistungsabzeichen in Bronze). The BDM was the girl's section of the Nazi youth movement 'Hitler-Jugend'. It was the only female youth organization in Nazi Germany, the 'Jungmädel' for little girls in the age of 10-14 was part of the BDM. The badge is neatly maker marked on the back with 'RZM M1/15' indicating production by the company of 'Ferdinand Hofstätter' from Bonn. It is marked with the unique number 'IB24466'. This pin/catch attachement construction is complete and functional. Nice example in very good condition!
Dit is een mooi origineel BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel) 'Leistungsabzeichen in Bronze'. De BDM was de meisjes afdeling van de Nazi jeugdbeweging 'Hitler-Jugend'. Het was de enige dames jeugd organisatie in Nazi Duitsland, de 'Jungmädel' voor meisjes van 10-14 jaar was onderdeel van de BDM. Het speldje is mooi gemarkeerd op de achterzijde met 'RZM M1/15' wat duidt op productie door de firma 'Ferdinand Hofstätter' uit Bonn. Verder is het gemarkeerd met het unieke nummer 'IB24466'. Het naald/haak systeem op de achterzijde is compleet en functioneel. Mooi exemplaar in erg goede staat!
