Double Decal M35 'Polizei' Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains almost all of its early fieldgrey/green paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage. Both decals are in very good condition with some minor damage and scratches caused by usage, the police decal is present for about 85%, the swastika decal for about 80%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact and showing the typical early colour. The interior of the helmet is an early M31 with single aluminum liner-ring, the liner is nicely maker marked and dated 1937. The leather has been treated with grease once for better preservation, the liner is complete with original liner-cord. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ET64' which indicates production by the 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' from Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '3668'.  Hard to find original early Double Decal Polizei helmet in good used condition!
