Description

'Deutsches Reich Kennkarte' - Civil Indentification Card. Introduced in July 1938. Every German citizen was issued one, and was expected to show it when asket to by officials. This ID-card belonged to a young woman from the area of Dresden. The oilcloth ID-card was issued to her on 5 October 1940. The  card has been folded once. Nice original example in good used condition!
