Dutch M27 Combat Helmet (Stalen Helm Model 27). The stamped sheet steel construction M27 helmet retains almost all of its original smooth dark grey-green paint. All liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a leather liner, the felt protection pads and original liner-cord are missing. The liner is nicely marked and dated 'CM1934' (Centraal-Magazijn). The helmet comes with an incomplete chinstrap. There are some normal damages and scratches caused by usage. The name 'Verstappen' is written in the back of the helmet. This helmet was recently found in a house-cleaning in Nederweert in the Netherland and was not part of a collection before. Nice original Dutch combat helmet in used condition, priced accordingly!
