Dutch pouch for a wire cutter and pliers (Foudraal voor draadschaar en combinatietang). Wire cutters were enabling personnel to cut through barbwire entanglements. This is a WW1 model Dutch Wire Cutter and pliers pouch. The canvas and leather construction pouch is nicely marked and dated 'M.A.1916'. Hard to find original pouch in good used condition!
