Early SA M33 Dagger 'Aesculap'
Early SA M33 Dagger (Dienstdolch M33). Nice pre-war dagger, the dagger has a laquered wooden grip, typical for this manufacturer. The grip has a nicely inset nickel-silver national eagle and a nickel/silver enameled runic SA button. The dagger comes with its original brown, magnetic sheet metal scabbard with solid nickel-silver fittings. The blade bears the inscription 'Alles für Deutschland' (Everything for Germany), the reverse ricasso is well marked with the etched manufacturer’s marking indicating production by the company of 'Aesculap' from Tuttlingen, a desirable manufacturer, mostly known for the production of medical tools. The blade is in good used condition and has some typical runner marks. Nice original early SA M33 Dagger!
