'Feldherrnhalle' Souvenir Wall Plaque

Description

Rare original 'Feldherrnhalle' wall-plaque, placed on a wooden background. In 1923 the 'Feldherrnhalle' was the site of the brief battle that ended Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch. During the Nazi era it served as a sacred site commemorating the 16 SA 'martyrs' who died in the failed putsch. The plaque is showing a front-view of the 'München Feldherrnhalle'. The detailed plaque is placed on a wooden base, sized approximately 17 x 16,5 cms. It is complete with a metal eyelet to hang it on the wall. Nice and decorative original item!
