Description

French Ceremonial Navy Dagger c.1900. This is a French Naval officer's dagger showing the head of Medusa on the cross guard. The double edged blade is in used condition showing some surface pitting. The dagger is having a nice original undamaged white celluloid grip. The dagger is complete with its original gilded brass scabbard. The dagger is not showing any visible markings. The dagger originates from the estate of a Royal Dutch Navy officer together with his Dutch Navy Ponjaard which we offered for sale separately. Rare and decorative original French naval dagger from around 1900!
