German Fire Protection Police (Feuerwehr/Feuerschutzpolizei) Officer's Dress Bayonet (Extraseitengewehr). This is the short model for Officer's ranks. The bayonet was, accompanied by a bayonet frog, to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The blade is marked with the distributor mark "K. Negele" from Tübingen and on the other side maker marked by the manufacturer 'Eickhorn' from Solingen. The scabberd is showing normal traces of usage, see photos. The bayonet is complete with leather frog. Desirable original bayonet in very good condition!
