German Mine or Gas Warning Flag (Fähnchen). Rare original 19,5 x 19 cms sized yellow coloured flag showing a printed on black skull and crossbones, complete with original ropes to hang it. The top and bottom of the flag has been hemmed over to hold a 21cm long steel wire rod. The gas warning flag set was issued on a limited basis and was most probably also utilized to mark minefields. Decorative and rare original item!
