Wehrmacht 'Flakkampfabzeichen des Heeres' (Army Flak Badge). The Heeres-Flakabzeichen was instituted by the OKH (Oberkommandos des Heeres) on 18 July 1941. The badge was designed by the firm of Ernst Wilhelm Peekhaus of Berlin. Members of flak batteries, sound-locator crews, and searchlight crews in a support role were qualified to earn the award. The pin and catch are complete and functional. The badge is nicely maker marked on the pin with 'L/21' indicating production by the company of 'Förster & Barth' in Pforzheim. Extremely rare and sought after 'L/21' maker marked example in very good condition
