Description

Hitler-Jugend Knife (HJ Fahrtenmesser). The 'HJ Fahrtenmesser' (Hike/Camp knife) was introduced in early 1933. The knife has black molded diamond grooved bakelite grips, the obverse grip has an imbedded enameled HJ diamond. The knife comes with its original magnetic sheet metal scabbard, the scabberd still retains most of its original black paint and shows normal traces of usage. The leather belt loop is present and complete with the small leather retaining strap. The blade is in good used condition. The blade is marked with 'RZM M7/25' indicating production by the company of 'Wilhelm Wagner' from Solingen-Merscheid. This is a later period knife. Overall a nice original HJ dagger in good used condition!
