K98 Combat Bayonet (Seitengewehr 98K). The K98 bayonet was a standard issue item and was accompanied by a bayonet frog to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The K98 bayonet remained the standard issue bayonet through-out the war with minor manufacturing variations. The bayonet and scabberd are non-matching, the bayonet is marked with serial-number '9562' and maker marked and dated with '42 cof' indicating production by the company of 'Carl Eickhorn' from Solingen in 1942. The scabberd is marked with serial number '2166' and maker marked by 'F.W. Höller' from Solingen and dated 1940. The blade is in very good condition, the bayonet is having nice wooden grips. The bayonet comes together with a nice original frog in good used condition. Nice original bayonet in good ondition!
