Wehrmacht K98 M34 Cleaning Kit, complete with contents (Reinigungsgerät 34 mit Inhalt). When issued the K98 came accompanied with assorted accessory items including a sling, a cleaning rod, a protective muzzle cover and a M34 cleaning kit that was officially introduced on 4 September 1934 and was utilized with all bolt action rifles. The metal cleaning kit is nicely maker marked by 'G.Appel' and dated 1938. The kit is complete with a metal oiler, chain and 2 brushes. The metal oiler is matching marked 'G.Appel 1938'. Nice set in good used condition!
