Wehrmacht K98 M34 Cleaning Kit, complete with contents (Reinigungsgerät 34 mit Inhalt). When issued the K98 came accompanied with assorted accessory items including a sling, a cleaning rod, a protective muzzle cover and a M34 cleaning kit that was officially introduced on 4 September 1934 and was utilized with all bolt action rifles. The early pre-war metal cleaning kit is not visible marked or dated. The kit is complete with a metal oiler, takedown-tool, chain and both brushes. Nice set in good used condition!
