Kriegsmarine 'U-boot-Kriegsabzeichen' (U-Boat War Badge) award document (Verleihungs-Urkunde). The U-Boat War Badge was instituted by Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine und Großadmiral: 'Erich Raeder' on 13 october 1939 for award to all ranks of U-Boat personnel who had served on at least two sorties against the enemy or were wounded in action. This (A4 sized) document was awarded to 'Oberfähnrich Karl Stöcklein', he was awarded the U-Boat War Badge on 28 March 1943. The document is (facsimile) signed by Kapitän zur See und Führer der Unterseeboote West 'Hans-Rudolf Rösing'. The document is also clearly ink-stamped. The document has been folded and perforated but it is in overall good used condition. Nice and hard to find original U-boat War Badge award document!
