Luftwaffe Seaboat NCO's Four-Pocket Tunic
Very nice quality, private purchase blue/grey wool construction 1935 pattern Luftwaffe four-pocket tunic (Waffenrock) as intended for a 'Feldwebel der Flieger'. The tunic features a vertical, four button, front closure. The right breast has a very nice quality hand-embroidered breast-eagle neatly hand-stitched to the tunic. A pair of yellow-coloured collar tabs, both having three rank gulls applied, is nicely hand sewn to the collar. Silver NCO braid is machine-sewn around the collar. The tunic is having shoulder-boards of the sew-in type having the golden-yellow 'Waffenfarbe' indicating a Feldwebel within a 'Flieger' unit. There are award-loops on the left breast for wear of one award. A nicely hand-embroidered seagoing boat personnel's trade badge (Seemännisches Militärisches Bootspersonal Tätigkeitsabzeichen) is hand-sewn to the wearer's left lower-sleeve indicating that this Feldwebel was part of a flight boat unit. The interior of the tunic is lined in light grey rayon. The tunic is complete with a tailor label from a tailor in 'Warnemünde', the 'Fliegerhorst Warnemünde' was equipped with flight boats. The tunic is named to Feldwebel 'Gosmann', the wooden clothing hangar came with the tunic and is named to the Feldwebel as well. The tunic is in good used condition, there is some staining and discoloration caused by years of storage, the tunic is in uncleaned condition as found. Rare original tunic!
