WH (Heer) M35 Helmet (Stahlhelm M35) reissued in the early post-war Norwegian army. The steel construction reissued M35 helmet retains most of its typical tan coloured Norwegian post-war over-paint. The norwegian decals have been removed by a collector in the past. The paint shows normal wear and scratches, see photos. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a 1939 dated M31 leather liner with eight fingers and reinforced aluminum ring. The leather has been painted red/brown, typical for Norwegian reissued helmets. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q66' which indicates production by the company of 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' from Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '20767'. Overall a nice post-war reissued German helmet for a fair price!
