Description
NSB - WA Membership Badge (WA-draagteken). The Dutch "Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging" (National Socialist Movement) was founded by 'Anton Mussert' in December 1931 and was a Dutch pro-German Nazi Party. This badge was worn by the members of the 'NSB'-related: 'Weerafdelingen' (being more or less the equivalent of the German SA or 'Sturmabteilungen'). The badge is a nice enameled example, the badge has never been cleaned nor polished, there are only some small scratches/dirt caused by years of storage. The badge is maker-marked on the back with the logo 'HFB'. The badge comes on its original and functional buttonhole attachment. Hard to find original membership badge in very good condition!
