Description

NSDAP Standard Bearer's Gorget (Ringkragen/Brustschild für Fahnenträger der Hoheitsfahnen der NSDAP). Kidney-shaped non-magnetic brass construction breast-shield/gorget showing a political style eagle to the center. The back of the gorget is still having its original protective mustard-brown woolen backing. The shield is complete with its original chain. The shield is nicely maker marked with 'RZM M1/102' indicating production by the company of 'Frank & Reif' from Stuttgart. The chain is showing two different RZM codes, something I've more often seen at these gorgets. The gorget is showing normal traces of usage and is in overall very good condition, see photos. This gorget originates from the USA and was taken home as a souvernir by a US GI. Stunning and hard to find original gorget!
