NSRKB Visor Cap for a 'Kreisführer'
'NS-RKB, Kyffhäuserbund' Visor Cap as intended for a 'Kreisführer' (Schirmmütze für Veteranen). The DRKB 'Deutscher Reichskriegerbund' (Kyffhäuserbund) was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB 'Deutscher Kriegerbund', originally formed after the war of 1870-71. On 29 March 1938 the DRKB was renamed into NS-RKB 'Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund'. The cap is complete with its original aluminum cap-eagle and cocarde. The black rayon center band is showing 'Kyffhäuser' monuments and Swastikas. The cap is having a gold-coloured chinstrap and gold twisted piping indicating the rank of 'Kreisführer'. The cap is lined with tan-coloured rayon and is showing a manufacturer's mark 'Yacht Club, Echtblau Tuch', there is an ink-marking as well but this is hard to read. The sweatband is in very good condition. The black&white period photo is showing a 'Kreisführer' wearing a similar cap, this photo is not part of the sale. Scarce original cap in very good only slightly used condition!
