Oberst 'Heinz Koller-Kraus' Portrait Photograph

Description

This is a nice sharp portrait photograph of Wehrmacht Oberst 'Heinz Koller Kraus'. Nice quality portrait showing Hans wearing his officer's tunic, casually smoking a pipe. His German Cross in Gold (Deutsches Kreuz in Gold) is clearly visible on his right chest, he was awarded with the German Cross in Gold on 4 February 1943 as a Major to the General Staff and member within the '78. Sturm-Division' (78.Infanterie-Division). A General Assault Badge (Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen) and an Iron Cross 1st Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1e Klasse) are visible at his left chest. The ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2e Klasse) is sewn through one of the buttonholes of his tunic. The photograph has been personally signed by Koller Kraus during the war with 'Heil und Sieg! Herr Koller Kraus 26.1.1945'. The photograph measures approximately 9 x 14 cms in size (postcard size) and is in excellent condition. Unique and rare photograph of Oberst Koller Kraus!
