This is a nice example of a 'Schutzpolizei' NCO's Sleeve Eagle (Ärmeladler). This machine embroidered version was to be worn by NCO’s (the German Police had no enlisted ranks). The eagle is embroidered in green on a field-grey woolen background, the patch is showing a rarely seen eagle with 3 wing feathers instead of 6. Nice original sleeve eagle in good used and clearly tunic removed condition!
