Wehrmacht 'Sonderkart.6 le.F.H.18' Wooden Transport Box (Munitionskiste), intended to hold 3 carton containers for the light field howitzer 18 (leichte Feldhaubitze 18). The wooden box still remains most of its original fieldgrey paint and is nicely stenciled on top with 'Sonderkart.6 le.F.H.18'. The box is complete with original paper label and webbing carrying handle. The box is in good condition, there are some small woodworm holes. The box is sized approximately 52 x 17 x 15 cms. This will be a great addition to a diorama. Decorative original ammunition box!
