Waffen-SS M40 EM/NCO's Overseas Cap (Schiffchen für Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften). The M40 overseas cap was similar in cut to the Luftwaffe overseas cap and was worn for the duration of the war. Fieldgrey woolen construction SS overseas cap. The cap is complete with a hand-applied BeVo-woven cap-eagle and skull. The cap has a grey coloured cotton/rayon lining, the cap is size '58' marked. The cap is in good used condition with some normal traces of usage, see photos. Original SS overseas caps like these are almost impossible to find nowadays, rare original example!
