This is a nice original Wehrmacht Medical Box (Verbandkasten). These medical storage boxes were standard equipment for all military units and often stored in vehicles. The box is painted in the standard late war ordnance tan colour, on top of the box is stencilled in black paint 'Verbandkasten' and a red cross in a white circle. The lid of the box is showing some post-war paint stains, see photos. The inside compartment divider is missing, the paper contents label is missing as well. Nice original medical box in heavily used condition!
