Westwall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen). The Westwall medal was instituted by Adolf Hitler on 2 August 1939 for military personnel, and civilian employees, who assisted in the planning and construction or defence of the German fortifications on the western border of Germany. The medal is a late war zin example in very good condition. It comes with an in my opinion post-war added ribbon and carton pouch of issue, maker marked by the company of 'Carl Poellath' from Schrobenhausen. Nice medal for a fair price!
