Wehrmacht M31 Canteen (Feldflasche 31). The standard issue M31 canteen was introduced on 23 March 1931. This is a pressed wood, so-called "coconut", covered aluminium flask. The canteen is complete with original webbing straps. The canteen and webbing straps are all in overall good used condition with normal age and usage toning. The canteen is maker marked and dated with 'H.R.E.42' indicating production by the company of 'Heinrich Ritter' from Esslingen in 1942. It only needs a cup to be completed. Nice original canteen in good condition!
