Wehrmacht (Heer) EM/NCO's Breeches for Mounted Troops (Stiefelhose für Mannschaften und Unteroffiziere der berittenen Truppen). The German 'Heer' (Army) utilized a wide variety of long trousers and breeches including the breeches for mounted troops. Mounted (cavalry) personnel in all branches of service utilized the riding breeches (Reithose) which were to be worn with most of the uniform types. Originally the seat and crotch of the riding breeches were out-fitted with leather reinforcement panels. This is a issue field-grey woolen-construction riding breeches for mounted troops, having leather reinforcement panels. The breeches are nicely RB.Nr. marked and dated 1944 (F44). The breeches are showing only minimal traces of usage and years of storage, see photos. Stunning original pair of breeches in very good condition!
