Wehrmacht (Heer) M40 Greatcoat (Tuchmantel). The Greatcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier. The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations. Field-grey woolen construction, it has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The greatcoat is complete with all original buttons. Shoulder-strap loops and buttons are present.The greatcoat is faintly maker marked and nicely size marked (chest size 94cms). The greatcoat is showing normal traces of usage and some small damages and/or repairs but in overall good condition, see photos. Nice original Wehrmacht greatcoat!
